Addiction/substance abuse awareness

Work includes the development and delivery of training programs that highlight methods for engaging those with addiction/substance abuse issues in the context of the work done at OTDA. Topics include: understanding addiction as a disease, making appropriate referrals to treatment, prevention and intervention services, and crisis intervention techniques.   

Qualified candidates will possess demonstrated competency to train this topic, either through appropriate experience or credential, such as CASAC certification.
